The cup has a distinctive handle and shape we were not able to match with other NM cups. The cup is 2" high; 3-11/16" across the top of the bowl; 4-3/8" from the side to the end of the handle; 1-3/4" on the bottom ring.
On p. 144 of Measell's "New Martinsville Glass, 1900-1944" is a drawing of #1926 cup with ground and polished base. The book cites correspondence that the cup weighs about 5 oz. The drawing gives capacity at 6-3/4 oz. The handle is not shaped like those on the #1926 footed octagonal cream & sugar, also shown on that page (and in the Gallery). It appears that #1926 and #10 were sometimes promoted together. It's probable is that this set is a #1926 cup + #10 saucer, but we are open to additional information if available.
