Original catalog shows this was done in 1934. According to Rich Stoer, this dolphin is one of the Czech ones from the twenties. The size of the head in relation to the double-step base is the most obvious identification feature. The description of this stick is on page 213 of "The Glass Candlestick Book" volume one - third from the top. The height varied quite a bit on those but the guide lists the height as between 10 1/2" and 11" so this one fits right in the range.
