Everday glass was often marketed by including other items in the packaging. This example shows the cup and saucer teamed with a candle.
The "Anchor Hocking Fire-King & More" book by Gene Florence calls this pattern shell and says the color is peach lustre. The photo above shows the original packaging marketed it as "Golden Lustre Carnival Glass".
This type of marketing often resulted in increased availability on the secondary market for that piece of glassware.
According to the Florence book, this Fire King pattern was made in iridized mother of pearl, Jade-ite, Milk White, Milk White with gold trim, and peach lustre which is shown in the photo above.
