3 1/2" tall and the base is 5" wide. The enamel decoration was applied to the top and bottom of the foot. On page 173 the Charlton book identifies the decoration as Ebony Whirl, a black and lacquer red decoration on a pleasing variety of crystal accessories. This candlestick is shown there.
