Barolac Ashtray

Barolac Ashtray
Not marked. 3-3/8 x 2-5/8 inches. A similar piece was observed in a shop with the manufacturer's label reading:
"Joseph Inwald Barolac
designer Rudolf Shrotter
1930s Rudolfova Hut"

Barolac became a style of pressed glass. Rudolf Schrotter is listed as the designer of this marguerite floral pattern which was produced at the Rudolfova plant before WWII. After the war, the pattern was also produced by other designers in other Czech plants. It is not clear when this ashtray was produced; none of the Bohemian glass resources online showed this pattern in frosted or satin glass or as an ashtray, but cigarette holders and boxes were shown.
