Fostoria Unnamed/Unnumbered Etch on #2324 Candlestick
There are three different etchings on this 12-in. candlestick, one stylized on the base, and two floral on the shaft. This candlestick has been converted to an electric lamp with the addition of a lamp socket into the candle cup.

"The etching is the same one we show in FO-57c, Pg 27 - Volume two of our series on glass candlesticks. That illustration was taken from Fostoria's 'Catalog Number Six' which dates to 1924. Like many other etchings from that period, there is no name or number given (at least not in the sales catalog). The caption merely says "No. 2324. 12-inch Etched" (The same etching is shown on the 9" high version). Until now we had never seen this etching outside of a catalog. Good work!"
