Etch shown on pink bowl has a Gold Band at its inner edge and outer rim. According to a Lotus advertisement in Dean Six's book, this treatment was also called "Gold Brocade" (and when done with platinum bands, "Silver Brocade"). Photo courtesy of Mike.

The #0889 etch was also done with full gold encrustation of the etch and was labeled #889. Hazel Marie Weatherman dubbed this pattern "Grecian Gold," an name not used by Lotus. In later years, a wide encrusted version of #889 was done on crystal and advertised as "Georgian Gold."
