Hocking Miss America Reproduction Comparison

The top photo shows an authentic Miss America butter dish in pink and a blue reproduction.

The middle left hand photo shows the difference in the rays in the butter bottom. The rays in the repro are fatter and the points are different.

The bottom left photo shows the difference in the size of the knobs and the undecorated portion of the lid is a little wider on the repro.

In the middle right hand photo, the two knobs are compared: the repro lid is much larger and more round than the Miss America knob.

The bottom right photo shows the inside of the blue lid does not have an indentation where the knob is while the pink one does.

Miss America butter dishes were only made in Crystal and Pink. Any other color is a reproduction.
