Westmoreland #1700 Candy w/ Enamel Decoration
This unmarked Westmoreland #1700 line 3-pound candy jar has the "Engine Turned" motif decoration shown on page 99 of Wilson's Westmoreland book plus enameled flowers. The entire exterior surface was satinized. Narrow vertical panels were then deep acid etched in a manner similar to Tiffin's Jack frost. Finally, the hand painted floral decoration was added. The jar with lid is 13" tall and 8-1/2" without.
