Cambridge No. 3500/31 Gadroon Candlestick in Amethyst
Made from 1933 into the 1940s
Measures about 6 inches high and has a base diameter of 4 ½ inches
This is the earlier version of the stick with the ridges on the base. In about 1940 the ridges were removed and a pair of ram’s heads were added to the sides of the candle cup. The later version was reissued by Imperial in iridescent cobalt as part of their Aurora Jewels line.
