Consolidated #2547 Martelé Bird of Paradise
Consolidated #2547 Martelé Bird of Paradise |
The Martelé line of hand-made glass was designed by Reuben Haley and introduced in 1926. The Martelé designs were supposedly inspired by the work of Rene Lalique displayed in the 1925 Paris Exposition.
12-in. plate with amethyst wash (and a chip on the edge!) The flowers along the rim are the "iris" pattern shown on a bowl in this section. |
