This shape ice bucket was identified from a trade journal ad shown in Dean Six's "West Virginia Glass Between the World Wars". The ad was dated 1940.
This bucket is fairly easy to find and you will find it with a multitude of decorative treatments.. It is usually found in crystal. The sand carved ships decorated bucket belongs to Penny Drucker. The other examples belong to Jo Davis.
