This 8.5 in. #518 Draped Lady was produced by Cambridge from two different molds. The lady on the left is from the second mold made by Cambridge for this flower arranger. The mold does not have a patent number and the hollow part inside the frog's base is not as deep as the original mold. This particular example from this mold was probably made toward the end of Cambridge production for this frog because the mold seems to have shown enough wear that the detail sometimes found on this frog is not present. The glass on this frog has wonderful clarity.
The lady on the right was made from the original mold and includes the patent number 1645577. This lady also shows a lot more detail so it was evidently produced early in the life of the mold.
