Company was located in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. The company prospered for a dozen years until the depression. Ernest Kreibich ( which was later changed to Krebeck) arrived in the U.S.A. about 1912 or 1913 as a teen-ager, from the Bohemian region of Austria. He worked in Pittsburgh as a glass decorator. His parents, Adolf and Bertha Kreibich, arrived in the USA about 1919 or 1920.
His father, Adolf, was a master glass maker and glass decorator who had many apprentices working for him in Austria, including his son Ernest. Adolph worked in the company with his son as the chief decorator. Ernest was the designer for the Art Goods and Novelty Co.
Ernest struggled to keep the business going during the depression but finally sold the shop in 1938 or 1939. He then moved to Washington, D.C. where he worked for the Navy Yard.
