It is not clear whether Butterfly is a Lotus name, because there is another etch #1014 called Butterfly on Lotus catalog sheets, and it is not this etch. This etch is shown in Weatherman's "Colored Glass of the Depression Era 2" on p. 234, without the usual notation of pattern name on the Lotus document.
It is possible this etch is a composite of the butterfly from #1014 and flowers from another etch. When more information is available, it will be posted in this entry.
