Etch is on a liner possibly from a mayonnaise set or cheese and cracker set. Two similar etches, Lotus #890 and #891, were used gold encrusted on glass and on china. However, documentation of the etch shown on this plate as a Lotus etch has not been found. See Six' Lotus Depression Glass & Far Beyond, p. 9.
